If you love onions, you’ll love this French Onion Soup from Brain Body Diet. Here’s why you should be indulging in more onions. Allium vegetables, mainly onions, garlic, and leeks, raise glutathione – the body’s chief detoxer. Onions are chock-full of antioxidants, particularly flavonoids. As prebiotics, onions and garlic contain fiber and sulfur needed for optimal gut health and better digestion. These qualities mean that onions help improve mineral absorption and brain body balance.
